Top 5 Rooftops in NYC (1).png

Rooftop season is finally here and we could not be more excited. Finally, we can get out of the busy city streets and enjoy the fresh rooftop air. And so we put together a list of some of our favorite rooftops here in the city and Brooklyn. Enjoy!

The 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge - 60 Furman Street

If you are looking for a killer view, 1 Hotel is a great choice. Looking straight at the Brooklyn Bridge, and downtown Manhattan you do not want to miss a sunset from this beautiful rooftop. The hotel is also located in the beautiful DUMBO area where you can grab a slice of famous Grimaldi's pizza or take some Instagram pictures under the Brooklyn Bridge.

Mr. Purple - 180 Orchard Street

Many of you probably already know about this stunning rooftop, and it's even more stunning views. But for anyone who is not that familiar with it, it is a worth the crazy lines to get in. Mr.Purple is a popular spot, so be prepared for a very crowded space. Also, try to be early so you don't miss an epic New York City sunset.

The Crown - 50 Bowery

Another great view from lower Manhattan. Facing North, you can spot the Empire State and the Chrysler building among others. It's a great place to grab a drink while admiring our beautiful city and its powerful views.

Magic Hour, Moxy Hotel - 485 7th Ave, Times Square

If you are looking for a good time, Sunday Magic Hour at Moxy Hotel in Times Square is a great time. The door can be kind of crazy, so if you know a promoter or someone who can get you in contact with one, that might be a good idea. The vibe is kind of club-ish, yet chill. Also, the rooftop is an experience in itself, with mini-golf and carousel seating. Definitely worth checking out!

The Ides at the Wythe Hotel - 80 Wythe Ave, Williamsburg

For all the Brooklyn lovers, the Ides is a beautiful classy rooftop. It has a great view of Manhattan and the East river, and we all know there is nothing like seeing the sunset behind the Manhattan skyline. The Instagram material you can get from here is pretty great.

These are only a few of the many rooftops to visit here in the city. But you still have all summer to check out as many as you possibly can. We hope you liked our suggestions, and that you try some of them out.
